Hotze is a senior studying Geological Engineering at Ole Miss. He is a published columnist for the on campus greek newspaper the odyssey. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Hotze came to Ole Miss because 'Ole Miss is a family, you can feel it on and off campus'. Hotze also thinks the SEC is 'the best conference in sports, every time the SEC plays itself the level of passion and drive to win is unmatched'. After college he plans on working in the oil and gas industry, leading to an eventual retirement to a ranch in Texas.
